Global flow control specialist FCX International has acquired American pharmaceutical specialist Controlvisions. Controlvisions (New Jersey) builds and instals valve actuation and assemblies using Flowserve products under licence for some of the US’s leading pharmaceutical companies. The acquisition will see the Controlvisions team move to the FCX office in Fairfield, New Jersey, which will strengthen the FCX offering both in the USA in general and in the pharmaceutical industry in particular. FCX is one of the world’s leading specialist distributors and manufacturers of flow control products, providing technical solutions and added value services through a world-wide network. It employs around 1100 people in 14 countries and 80 locations. It offers more than 40,000 line items and generates GBP 150 million in annual sales.
