FCX NH Valves – part of the specialist FCX International flow control group – has secured access as a supplier to the Canaplus buying group for its engineered commodity products in Canada. Established in 1995, the Canaplus Limited Partnership is a buying group organised to provide support to independent Canadian wholesale and retail distributors servicing the plumbing, heating and waterworks markets. It includes over three hundred points of sale from coast to coast, with around 60 active wholesale and retail members. Total annual sales of all the beneficiaries of Canaplus topped USD 2.8 billion in 2000, making it one of the largest buying groups of plumbing supplies and related products in Canada. FCX NH Valves operates two major warehouses in Canada, one in Edmonton in Alberta, which serves western Canada and a second in Mississauga Ontario serving eastern Canada.
