FCx Pegler Beacon Australia, part of the global FCx flow control group, has acquired instrumentation specialists Control and Sensors Pty Ltd from Perth, Western Australia. The acquisition, successfully completed early in July, continues a strategy by FCx Pegler Beacon to become the market leader in flow control and instrumentation distribution in the Asia Pacific region. Control and Sensors has a long established history in the Australian market. With a small band of key staff members and a solid record of sales and profit growth over the years, it has specialised in the supply of products from pressure, temperature and force measurement experts Bourdon Sedeme. These include sensors and pressure transmitters, pressure gauges, pressure and temperature switches, test and calibration instruments, chemical seals and accessories and mechanical and electrical temperature equipment. Now under the wing of FCx Pegler Beacon Australia, the portfolio of products will form part of the company’s Instrumentation, Control and Sensors product stream. Staff from Control And Sensors have relocated to the FCx Pegler Beacon facility in Canning Vale, Perth, Western Australia.
