Festo’s new valves are electrically modular

Festo’s newest valve series – the VG family is small, but still with a high flow rate. Its spectrum ranges from the compact individual valve VUVG up to the fieldbus-compatible valve terminal VTUG plug-in – electrically modular and pneumatically flexible, also in the control cabinet.

Many international customers of small parts assembly and the electronics industry, as well as the food and packaging industries, in which a high flow rate for a small unit volume are important, have already appreciated the individual valve VUVG for quick applications.

New to the family is the valve terminal VTUG plug-in, which rounds off the VG family with technically superior multipole variations and a highly simple and inexpensive fieldbus connection for all standard fieldbuses and Ethernet as well as IO-Link. The fieldbuses are quick and easy to replace, as the fieldbus nodes are screwed onto the valve terminal. Modular machine and system manufacturers appreciate electrical modularity and the high pneumatic flexibility of the VTUG plug.
