The new Fixed Venturi Balancing Valve 130 Series is the newest addition to Caleffi’s balancing device family. With a low-lead brass body, the 130 Series valves are equipped with a flow-rate measurement device based on the Venturi effect. The device is incorporated in the body of the valve upstream of the valve plug.
A balancing valve is a hydraulic device that regulates the flow rate of the fluid passing through it. The flow rate is regulated by the valve by means of a knob that controls the movement of a plug and allows passage of the fluid. The flow rate is determined according to the ΔP value measured by two pressure connectors located on the valve.
