Flow Control Exchange & ABIMAQ join forces in Brazil

This week Andre Davanzo from KCI Publishing travelled to Sao Paolo to meet with members of ABIMAQ, the Brazilian Valve Association, and introduce the Flow Control Exchange Conference and Exhibition which will take place in Rio de Janeiro on 3 & 4 March 2015. This unique event will focus on the specification, use, maintenance and manufacture of PVF – Pipes, Valves & Fittings – in the Brazilian marketplace. Organized in co-operation with Petrobras and other major end users in Brazil, Flow Control Exchange will bring together Brazilian and international experts and suppliers to expand their knowledge and business networks.

ABIMAQ, whose members represents a large part of the enormous Brazilian valve market, will play an important role in the event as it is supporting a full day course on ‘Valve Basics’ which will be held March 2, 2015, the day before Flow Control Exchange starts. This course will be aimed at giving participants from the Brazilian market a solid basic grounding in valve knowledge and will be offered to all ABIMAC members.

The Flow Control Exchange conference program has been carefully compiled by an expert Advisory Board – headed by Conference Chairman Mr E.J. Euthymiou of Petrobras – and will maximize the exchange of knowledge and experience for delegates.

The accompanying exhibition will focus on Brazils’ important valve and steel markets and will bring PVF manufacturers, EPCs and end-users together to strengthen relationships and exchange knowledge. Exhibiting companies will showcase new products and technology, while networking with key players in the Brazilian markets.
