Flow Safe selected as voucher recipient by US DOE

Flow Safe, a Dresser Utility Solutions company and manufacturer of spring-operated and pilot-operated high-performance pressure relief valve (PRV) technology, has been chosen as a voucher recipient by the US Department of Energy to accelerate the adoption of clean energy technology.

Flow Safe, the only PRV manufacturer selected for DOE vouchers opportunities, will work in collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), serving as the voucher provider. The DOE’s Voucher Opportunity 2 aims to expedite the integration of clean energy solutions into various industries, promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship.

As part of the Research and Development (R&D) testing facilitated by LLNL, Flow Safe’s PRVs will undergo cycle testing on cryo-compressed hydrogen. This marks a significant step in the utilisation of CCH2 as an emerging energy source, particularly within the heavy transport trucking industry.
