Flow sensor ideal for irrigation and similar appli

Hudson, MA-Clark Solutions announces the introduction of its FSI-S00 Flow Sensors. Constructed with a high density polyethylene impeller, Type 1 PVC sensor housing, a tungsten carbide impeller shaft, and a BUNA-N O-ring, these flow sensors would be an excellent choice for irrigation systems, cooling loops, large scale aquariums, water treatment systems, and many other applications. Easy to install – all the end user does is drill the pipe and mount the saddle. The sensor insert mounts in a housing that controls the depth and alignment of the impeller, eliminating errors typically experienced with other sensors. Clark FSI-S00 Flow Sensors feature a unique four-bladed lightweight impeller enabling these flow sensors to detect flow rates as low as 20% of the published minimum flow rates of competitive impellor type sensors. Clark FSI-S00 Flow Sensors are rated to 150 psi and are constructed of moisture resistant materials, making them ideal for underground installations. Should an FSI-S00 Flow Sensor require servicing, access is fast and easy via a single large retaining nut.

Signal output for FSI-S00 sensors is a square wave digital signal proportional to flow. The output signal duplicates existing impeller flow sensor signal technology, making the FSI-S00 Sensor compatible with all manufacturers’ control products. FSI-S00 Flow Sensors also feature a pulse signal output that will travel up to 2,000 feet without amplification.
