Flying start for Evoguard valve series

Krones AG’s subsidiary Evoguard has achieved success with its own series of valves. In late 2010, Krones AG, manufacturer of beverage filling and packaging technology, unveiled the valve series it was manufacturing in-house at the BrauBeviale in Nuremberg. In 2014, the Valve Technology Division was hived off to become Evoguard. So far, more than 150,000 valves have been produced, including disk valves, seat valves, double-seat valves, aseptic seat valves and aseptic double-seat valves. “It’s overwhelming to see how well our valves have established themselves on the market in such a short time”, says a gratified Martin Zierer, managing director of Evoguard.

The Evoguard valves are produced in the Upper Palatinate town of Nittenau, where the 4,000m2 production and administrative building accommodates the R&D, design, sales, manufacturing and assembly departments. Evoguard supplies valves and components for automated processes for producers of foods, beverages and dairy products.
