Furmanite keeps control

Furmanite has set up a new dedicated control valve repair facility as part of its UK-wide valve overhaul and repair service. The new facility, based at its Warrington site, complements Furmanite’s already comprehensive service with specialist equipment, expertise and procedures dedicated to control valve repair. Furthermore, with Furmanite’s Trevitest system (recently further developed to perform in hazardous conditions), valves can be tested on-line avoiding the need to remove valves from the process line. Trevitest hot-testing avoids the need to interrupt production, reduces fuel costs (as no increase in pressure is required), reduces time required to commission the plant after shutdown, and saves time and cost by diagnosing valves requiring maintenance prior to shutdown so that only those requiring overhaul need be removed. What’s more, Furmanite will carry out its valve maintenance and repair programme on site, wherever that may be, and has years of experience in a wide range of industry. Furmanite’s valve service covers every aspect of valve reconditioning, refurbishing virtually any make or type of valve to the highest standards. A Furmanite-guaranteed repair gives all the performance benefits of a new valve at a fraction of the cost.
