GEA introduces D-tec stem diaphragm valve

GEA is setting new standards in terms of flow rate, flexibility, and compatibility with the introduction of its new D-tec® stem diaphragm valves. The new diaphragm valve is based on the VARIVENT® module and thus scores with many advantages, for example, great flexibility of valve configuration. The hermetically sealing D-tec® diaphragm enables the new stem diaphragm valve to satisfy a higher hygienic standard. This results in higher product quality and allows longer shelf-life, often required especially in the food, beverage, and dairy industry. The valve is distinguished by a sophisticated combination of plastic and stainless steel, as well as by minimized mechanical diaphragm stress during switching. The valve consequently sets new standards for service life and offers at the same time great temperature resistance and ease of cleaning. The integrity of the D-tec® diaphragm can be reliably supervised by monitoring for leaks.
