GEMÜ extends 673 series with sealed version

GEMÜ extended its range of diaphragm valves for GEMÜ 673 series with a specially sealed valve. Originally, this specially sealed version was developed from the GEMÜ 601, 612 and 673 basic types to suit particular customer requirements, and the new GEMÜ 673P9 version will now extend the current portfolio.

The manually operated valve is available in nominal sizes DN 8 to DN 50, and has an additional seal provided by silicone O-rings that seal the interior of the bonnet housing from the outside. This prevents, among other things, the lubricant normally used for lubricating the spindle from leaking when autoclaving. It also prevents moisture and dirt from entering the bonnet interior. The GEMÜ 673P9 diaphragm valve is autoclave-capable and sterilisable, as well as CIP/SIP capable.

As with the basic types, a standard seal adjuster and optical position indicator are also integrated in the new version. Due to their compact design, the valve bonnets are also suitable for use on multi-port valve blocks and tank valves.
