Gerd Koeppke has been awarded the Title of Certified International Welding Engineer in July 2010 by the International Institute of Welding. Gerd Koeppke works as director of quality assurance at Holter Regelarmaturen (HORA) and is one of the first engineers in Germany to receive this title. Gerd Koeppke who joined HORA in 2000 fulfilled the requirements for this title through his continuous activity in welding processes. He is actively involved in scientific research and advanced training related to welding technology. HORA is a German-based manufacturer of control valves and actuators for power and building automation. Since 1967 the family-owned business concentrates on designing, manufacturing and marketing of advanced technology control valves and actuators.
