German guidelines for valves

The German Valve Manufacturers Association within VDMA has finalised its Guidelines on the interpretation of the European Directive 94/9/EC “Equipment and Protective Systems Intended for Use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres”, dated 19 April 1994 with effect from 1 July 2003. The Guidelines are intended to support industrial valve manufacturers, users and Notified Bodies dealing with the ATEX Directive. The Guidelines, available in English as a PDF file, are free of charge and can be obtained from the German Valve Manufacturers Association.
