GHR merges with Buschjost

GHR Hochdruck-Reduziertechnik, a specialist in the field of high-pressure technology, is part of Buschjost since 1 March 2015. Buschjost and GHR belong to the British company IMI, and are being merged as part of a restructuring programme initiated by the parent company.

To make optimum use of synergy effects, all business activities of GHR will be relocated to Bad Oeynhausen. The location in Ober-Mörlen (Hesse) will be closed. As a result of the merger, Buschjost and GHR will be better placed to work together to develop efficient solutions in the future. Buschjost innovations will be supplemented with pressure regulators, level indicators and flow monitors as well as overflow, proportional and high-pressure solenoid valves from the GHR product portfolio.

In addition, Buschjost and GHR will trade as IMI Precision Engineering with immediate effect. This new alignment within the IMI Group should further stimulate the exchange of best practice and innovation across the entire group and foster an even greater capacity to fulfil client wishes and requirements. The Group’s product portfolio is also being restructured and merged under five product brands. In future, Buschjost products will be available under the brand IMI Buschjost, while GHR products will be available under IMI Norgren.
