GL Ludemann Armaturen strainers for safety

Strainers installed in pipelines to protect vulnerable parts such as regulating valves, pumps or flow meters catch particles such as beads of sweat, filings and sand – foreign particles that are present in fluids or gases and which can contaminate the conduit system. GL Ludemann Armaturen from Bergisch Gladbach have been supplying industrial strainers for more than 50 years to industrial facilities, in chemical, petrochemical industries as well as power stations in the oil and gas industries and pharmaceutical and food industry. They are an important economic factor since strainers extend the life of downstream industrial facilities.

GL Ludemann Armaturen currently manufactures around 80t of grey cast iron GL strainers and approximately 20t of GL strainers made from other materials every month. The first product, a cast iron GL strainer, has built up a comprehensive portfolio over the last 50 years. With materials such as brass, gunmetal, graphite iron, cast steel and stainless steel designed as screwed ends version or version with welded ends, GL Ludemann Armaturen is able to meet the specific demands of the industry in different ways as well as comply with ANSI or other industry standards.
