Hafner Pneumatik has introduced new cylinder-valve-combinations, which are entirely made from A4 stainless steel.
The unit consists of cylinder according to ISO 15552 (also possible with ISO 21287 compact cylinders), pilot valve with NAMUR-interface, and cylinder-valve combination plate, which can be fitted to the cylinder with banjo-screws, offering a NAMUR-interface towards the pilot valve.
The new cylinder-valves are available in various configurations such as Stainless steel cylinders with diameter up to 200 mm, cylinder-valve combination plate with NAMUR 1 (1/4″) or NAMUR 2 (1/2″) interface, and valves with SIL 3 certificate. There is a wide range of pilot valves, different port sizes, functions and flow rates. Also, there are units for explosion hazardous environment, ATEX certified for zone 1 / 21. The units are offered for a wide temperature range. Most accessories such as fitting and flow regulator plates are made from stainless steel. There are aluminum units too.
The cylinder-valve combination appeals with its compact and robust design. There is a maximum switching speed due to short hose lines. The minimum tube length helps eliminate waste of compressed air in the hose lines. The interface between the plate and the control valve is standardized according to NAMUR.
