Hanbay Inc., the valve automation experts, has announced the release of a new spring return electric valve actuator that is compatible with any manufacturer’s ESV (emergency shutoff valve). This new design offers LP gas and anhydrous ammonia handlers the ability to remotely automate any ESV with a 24VDC or 110VAC fail-safe electric actuator. This CSA/UL rated explosion-proof actuator further advances Hanbay’s niche in providing compact electric valve automation to propane affiliated industries.
Any ESV valve that controls liquid or vapor for LP gas or anhydrous ammonia lines whether in bulk plants, on a bobtail truck, transport or tank car can be custom fitted to a Hanbay actuator. The Hanbay actuator provides automatic shut-off of liquid or vapor flow in the event of an accidental pull-away, line break, or hose rupture. Electrically automating ESV’s reduce the cost of operation, energy, and maintenance while simultaneously improving safety and efficiency.
