HHI wins Bergading Complex order

Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia for an engineering, procurement, construction, transportation, installation, hook-up and commissioning (EPCIC) contract for the Bergading Complex, which comprises a central processing platform (CPP), a bridge and a wellhead platform. The Bergading Complex is part of the full field development project in North Malay Basin, which Hess operates under a production-sharing contract with PETRONAS.

The complex will be located offshore Malaysia, in approximately 60m water depth. The CPP will be constructed at HHI’s offshore yard in Ulsan, South Korea, while the other facilities will be constructed by its appointed fabrication sub-contractor in Malaysia. The offshore installation of the Bergading facilities is scheduled to take place by the end of 2016.
