Quantapoint Europe, a laser scanning company, has appointed Gerard Hind as its Business Development Executive. Laser scanning technology enables the creation of 3D interactive plant models allowing project managers to access a “digitised facility” on their desktop. This cuts down on the number of site visits required during a project and reduces the margin for error. With 34 years experience in the industry working for companies such as I.C.I and Offset Services Ltd Gerard has been at the forefront of as built design. His role will be driving sales of the division’s offering within the North of England, Scotland, Scandinavia and the North Sea rim. Quantapoint Europe is a formal joint venture between Severn Glocon Group PLC and Quantapoint.
