Horton CBI Awarded Canadian EPC Contract for Two LPG Storage Spheres

Horton CBI has secured an engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction (EPFC) contract of two liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) Hortonspheres for a Canadian infrastructure company.

The project has a value of between USD $25 million and USD $50 million. The 82’ spheres have a capacity of 289, 580 cubic feet and will be fabricated at CB&I’s Kasemphol, Thailand facility. The company will then ship the sub-assemblies to the Canadian site.

Horton CBI expects onsite work in Canada to take approximately 18 months to complete.
