Hydrogen valve order

Severn Glocon has received a second order for its control valves, known as Switching Valves, designed for use in hydrogen production plants. These valves have been developed by Severn Glocon for the PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorbsion) process, which removes impurities from the hydrogen-rich gas produced in steam methane reforming plants. The valves were first ordered by Axsia Howmar in 2003 for a plant at an Italian refinery. The new order is for another Axsia Howmar hydrogen generation plant now being built in the Czech Republic. This order includes a new butterfly valve development of the original globe valve version of the Severn Glocon Switching Valve.
