IMI appoints new president for process automation

IMI plc has announced the appointment of Roby Buyung as the new President of Process Automation, effective immediately. Roby succeeds Jackie Hu, who has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer at IMI plc.

Roby Buyung brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this role, having spent over ten years at IMI in various leadership positions, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer.

Roby joined IMI in 2013 from General Electric, where he held the position of Finance Director and played a key role in driving growth and operational excellence in Indonesia. He holds a degree in Accountancy from the University of Wollongong and has been a Certified Practicing Accountant since 2003.

Roby’s appointment is part of IMI plc’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its leadership team and reinforcing its position as a leader in the engineered solutions industry, as part of its purpose-led strategy.
