IMI Critical Korea gets nod for sale in Europe

IMI Critical in Korea has been certified to sell actuator products into Europe, having received ATEX and PED certificates for its SP Piston and MSD-III diaphragm actuators.
ATEX and PED certificates are required for any products sold into Europe. More importantly, European companies and many other foreign companies are increasingly seeking ATEX/PED certifications for projects outside Europe.
ATEX certificates ensure that the equipment or protective system is fit for purpose and that it comes with adequate information so that it can be used safely. Meanwhile, PED certificates set out the standards for the design and fabrication of pressure equipment.
The ATEX and PED certification means that the recently launched IMI CCI 840GS control valve and the IMI CCI 840GC is qualified for the European market.
