IMI Precision Engineering has recently introduced four revolutionary new products designed to reduce setup time, improve ergonomics and increase press throughput at EuroBLECH 2016. IMI Precision Engineering introduced several products to support its wide range of press optimisation solutions: IMI Norgren Versa and Dial-a-Lok tooling; IMI Norgren grippers; nut and stud sensors; and featherweight tooling. IMI Precision Engineering also launched four new products.
The new products are: IMI Norgren Transforming Tooling, the industry’s only automation tool that can transform between jobs and accommodate multiple panels; IMI Norgren Lifting DBA system, capable of determining the number of panels by weighing blanks in motion; IMI Norgren New Black Slice (NBS), an engineered solution for supporting panels in press idle stations and IMI Norgren EZ Load, a lightweight yet strong compact manual tool changer designed for tri-axis, tandem and crossbar presses, as well as for robotic applications. IMI Precision Engineering rebranded from Norgren in 2015, and continues to engineer great solutions for fluid and motion control through its portfolio of flagship product brands including IMI Norgren, IMI Buschjost, IMI FAS, IMI Herion and IMI Maxseal.
