IMI STI has launched a new high-precision, digital-pneumatic compact valve controller.
Designed to be mounted on actuators to control the opening and closing of a valve, the FasTrak Compact (FTC) positioner can replace a conventional positioner and offers dynamic performance and high flow precision control (Cv=0,3) for almost all applications (Power, Petrochemical and Oil&Gas).
The FTC is compatible with all range of pneumatic actuators. It has an IP65 environmental rating which, combined with an exhaust protection system, means it can be used in harsh environments including tropical rain, dust sand and salt.
It has been certified ATEX and IECEx safety standards.
Clients can either choose between configuration and calibration carried out with a HART™ handheld device, or self-calibration using powerful software where users can personalise the operating parameters.
Dedicated remote software permits to set, customize, control and monitor valve performance, in real time, with the advanced diagnostic software pack (i.e. valve signature and step response) available as option.
