Gujarat State Petroleum Corp. (GSPC) has drawn up plans to expand its presence in the States of Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan to set up a gas transmission and distribution network similar to the one operated by the company in the State of Gujarat. Further, GSPC plans to expand its existing pipeline network in Gujarat by setting up 400km of additional natural gas pipeline network covering a total of 1200km connecting most of the districts in the State. The company hopes to transport gas from the KG basin in Andhra Pradesh and feed it into the proposed pipeline network in Andhra Pradesh.
