InflowControl optimizes oil production

InflowControl, a provider of advanced production optimization solutions, has successfully completed its first installations in Malaysia of the Autonomous Inflow Control Valve (AICV®) with an independent operator.

InflowControl’s AICV® technology remains “open” to flow for oil-saturated zones and autonomously restricts unwanted water and gas without any downhole power or control lines to the surface. By tailoring the AICVs for each reservoir’s needs based on the fluids’ viscosity and density contrasts, the AICV® enables operators to optimize zonal production rates based on the composition of the fluids. This enables enhanced ultimate oil recovery, reduced well intervention, and reduced CO2 intensity per BOPD for operators.

This achievement highlights InflowControl’s commitment to driving innovation and its ability to penetrate new markets. InflowControl is committed to supporting operators in Southeast Asia and has invested in establishing its local presence over the past several years, tapping into exciting opportunities and driving sustainable growth by helping operators solve their challenges of reducing GOR and high water-cut.
