Orbinox’s DESPONIA PLUS series resilient seated butterfly valves are designed for the high integrity gas vent applications on the waste-to-energy technology. The process gas consists of methane and carbon dioxide, with varying amounts of H2S, moisture and siloxanes present. Due to the amount of H2S and moisture present, there is the potential for the H2S to condense with water to form sulfuric acid. The butterfly valve features a fully lugged construction, with CF8M body & disc, Viton-Bio liner and IA Motion single acting pneumatic actuator c/w TOPWORX ‘TVL’ series valve control monitors. The butterfly valve design considers an anti-static device to ensure continuity between the valves body, disc and shaft arrangement.
