Bio-Chem Valve has developed inert, perfluoroelastomer miniature isolation valves for the handling of aggressive, particulate-laden and high purity fluids in scientific and medical equipment. These solenoid valves enable OEM product designers to accommodate fluids that present a threat to the integrity of standard valve seals. With a diameter of only 19mm and varying in height between 48 and 60mm, the valves consist of inert yet resilient perfluoroelastomer polymer diaphragms and a Peek body, providing quality sealing with improved resistance to particulate damage. The valves are available in two-way normally open, two-way normally closed or three-way configurations. A choice of materials are available for the diaphragm and valve body, and flow rates and pressure capabilities can be customised to meet specific application requirements. In addition, the valves can be combined with Bio-Chem’s patented manifold system to reduce the cost of design and assembly time in instrument design and production.
