Jim Hengehold to retire from Powell Valves

The Wm. Powell Company has announced retirement of Jim Hengehold, senior VP — Powell Engineering at the end of the year.

Jim began his career with Powell in 1980 as a Project Engineer. He was mentored by Bob Koester and was promoted to ACE. Jim succeeded Bob as Powell’s chief engineer. He continued to rise with the Powell engineering department assuming his current position of senior VP — Engineering.

Jim is highly respected by all of the valve industry, specifying bodies, his peers, co-workers and Powell customers. Randy Cowart, president, CEO and chairman The Wm. Powell Company acknowledged Jim for his contribution to the success of the company.
