John Crane has launched a Next Day Delivery Service for its standard range of mechanical cartridge seals. The new service, for within the UK, covers standard size seals constructed from standard materials for customers who need sealing solutions for a wide variety of different applications. According to John Crane UK General Manager, Colin Ure, “Any seals covered by our new service that are ordered before 14:30 will be delivered to the customer the following working day.” Among the seals covered by the new service are John Crane’s 4600 Series of single and double ‘O’-ring cartridge seals, which are suitable for water and wastewater, pulp and paper and power generation applications. Standard seals in John Crane’s 5600 Series – Universal Cartridge Seal Family are also available using this new service. Customers can also use the new system to access John Crane’s FFET range of cartridge seals. These compact seals will fit all ANSI and DIN stuffing boxes. Their construction makes them suitable for numerous applications involving chemicals, oil, water and abrasive liquids, especially those involving top-entry mixers where the liquid product may not provide continuous cooling and lubrication of the seal faces.
