KITZ Corporation announced that it has resolved the changes in the company’s Representative Directors at its Board of Directors’ meeting. It will be formally decided at the 107th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to be held by end of March 2021 and at the subsequent Board of Directors’ meeting.
Reasons for the changes regard to further increase corporate value with strong will and execution power through the rejuvenation of top management in a business environment characterized by rapid changes in the global industrial structure. Yasuyuki Hotta will be appointed as Chairman (current position: President and Chief Executive Officer) and Makoto Kohno as President and Chief Executive Officer (current position: Director and Managing Executive Officer).
Makoto Kohno graduated from Kokugakuin University, Department of Economics in 1988, joined KITZ in April 1988. Mr. Kohno previously served as general manager, the international sales division of Flow Control Business Unit, general manager, CEO & managing director of KITZ Corporation of Asia Pacific, managing director of KITZ Valve & Actuation Singapore. Mr. Kohno from 2019 was director, managing executive officer, general manager of the Flow Control Business Unit.
