LA35 stainless steel actuator

Linak UK has released a range of stainless steel actuators developed to operate in harsh environments and where cleanliness is paramount. The actuators are able to withstand high-temperature fluctuations as well as the most stringent cleaning regimes and strong detergents. They provide smooth and controlled linear motion with thrusts up to 12,000N and a maximum stroke length of 999mm. An optional in-built feedback provides additional safety with accurate positioning of the actuator. As well as the stainless steel range Linak has also released the LA35 actuator, a midsized electric linear actuator and smaller sister to the LA36. It has been developed to operate in extremely harsh conditions, carrying an IP66/IP69k static rating, meaning that it can be washed down using high-pressure jet washers and has a working temperature range of -10 to +50C. Precise control is facilitated by the use of in-built limit switches and by advanced feedback options, either analogue or absolute feedback both of which are non-contact. Optional advanced feedback systems and stainless steel options are also available. The LA35 features exchangeable cables and is available in 12 or 24V developing a thrust of 600N and a stroke length of 600mm.
