LESER’s safety valves enhance productivity

LESER’s Pilot Operated Safety Valves (POSV) with an operating pressure of up to 426 barg / 6170 psig promises to secure a plant. The POSV consists of a main and a pilot valve. The pilot valve has two designs: The pop action-design ensures a rapid opening of the main valve. This version is important for applications where the discharge capacity needs to be reached quickly e.g. for gas applications. The modulate action-design has a gradual opening. The aim is, to minimize the media loss. The Pilot Valves are robust and not sensitive to vibrations, which guarantees safe working even if there are vibrations and oscillations in the system.

A POSV has a higher tightness especially near the set pressure, resulting in possible operating pressures of up to 97% of the set pressure. Besides, POSV are applicable for high back-pressures of up 70% of the set pressure. Above that, the POSV has a compact construction and a lower weight. Possible application areas are: compressors in gas main systems, blow-off pipes in the oil and gas industry, feed pipes in the oil and gas industry, pumps in all industries, Off-shore (platform, FPSO), and LPG-Carrier.
