Acrodyne Pty Ltd built Limitorque actuators were recently specified with AVFI DN750 Plug Valves complete with 2-meter extensions also supplied by AVFI Pty Ltd.
The complete assemblies were coupled together where gearbox end-stops were adjusted, actuators set and cycled ensuring a smooth site installation.
This project is a Melbourne Water initiative replacing 80 to 100 year old mains forming part of the Olinda to Mitcham pipeline, three existing mains were replaced by two 1350mm pipelines to transport and distribute water between the Olinda and Mitcham Reservoirs.
