Logix 3200IQ gets IECEx Certificates

The Flowserve Logix 3200IQ has received two new IECEx Certificates of Conformity, enabling the digital positioner to be used in hazardous locations. In addition, the Logix 3200IQ has received acceptance by the Korean Occupational Safety and Health Administration. With the new IECEx certifications, customers in the Australia and Asia Pacific regions use the 3200IQ. The IECEx Certificates of Conformity verify that the 3200IQ complies with the standards set by the International Electrotechincal Commission for electrical equipment operating in explosive atmospheres. The Flowserve Logix 3200IQ digital positioner offers quick setup and calibration of either diaphragm- or piston-operated valves without the need for additional handheld devices, software or configuration/calibration tools. As a “smart” Hart positioner, the 3200IQ can provide wide-ranging data to a facility’s control system or to its maintenance database software. The Logix 3200IQ is used in industries employing control valves, such as oil and gas production and refining, chemical processing, and pulp and paper production.
