Long-term Statoil contract for Ross Offshore

Ross Offshore AS secured a contract for providing drilling, well exploration and petroleum technology services to Statoil ASA. The contract is for five years, with a two-plus-two-plus-one year extension option (10 years in all). The contract will take effect on January 1, 2014. The contract is given as part of an alliance with Ross Engineering AS and Oilspec AS.
 
This contract represents an expansion of already existing contracts. The new contract covers E&P services and involves areas such as geology, geophysics, reservoir technology, production technology, petrophysics and production data management.
