Low-maintenance pressure regulators

The 44 series compact regulators from Samson are pressure regulators with adjustable pressure limitation that require no additional power. After being installed in the pipeline, all that remains is to adjust the desired pressure value and the regulator is ready for use. No external energy is needed because the drive power of the regulator comes from the medium – liquid, gas or steam – being regulated.
With types 44-0 B, 44-1 B and 44-6 B, Samson is able to offer highly compact, yet sturdy devices. Because they reduce pressure, types 44-0 B and 44-1 B keep the outgoing pressure constant, whereas the 44-6 B overflow valve regulates supply pressure.
Once the regulators have been installed and adjusted, they require no further attention. This is due not only to their compact construction, but primarily to their low-maintenance design, having no stuffing box as a potential weak spot.
Life span was a primary concern when selecting the materials. The drive bellows, for example, are made of corrosion-resistant steel, as are the pressure relief bellows on types 44-1 B and 44-6 B. The regulators are suitable for a supply pressure of up to 16 bar and are equipped with 3 different adjustment ranges (from 0.1 to 10 bar).
