The new LS04 range of pneumatic solenoid valves from Bosch Rexroth are 10.8mm wide and weigh 30g. These valves can be directly mounted on machine parts. The valves are available in three versions. LS04XS types are, at 57.7 x 10.8 x 45mm, the smallest in the range. They are suitable for flow rates up to 200l/min, and are offered in 5/2-way versions. For higher flow rates, up to 330l/min, and where alternative functions are needed, Bosch Rexroth offers LS04AF valves. Measuring 76.2 x 10.8 x 60mm, these are only fractionally larger than the XS versions, but can be supplied in double 3/2-way versions as well as 5/2-way versions. The third version of the LS04 valve is used in compact LS04 valve terminal systems. With a height of 45mm and a maximum flow rate of 320l/min, LS04 valve terminal systems can provide up to 24 monostable valve positions. Electrical connections to all of the valves in the assembly are made via a single D-sub multiple plug, and the pilot air supply is also common to all valves.
