Meggitt PLC, an international company specializing in high-performance components and sub-systems for the aerospace, defense, and energy markets, has signed an agreement in principle with Air Support SA an MRO for aerospace and engine components for the maintenance of high-pressure engine control valves and related equipment.
The appointment of Air Support is consistent with Meggitt’s commitment to improving global customer service levels on key engine platforms. Working closely together Meggitt and Air Support will be developing a comprehensive scorecard to support improvements in service levels and reduce turn-around times (TAT) for high-pressure engine valves.
To enable this to happen, Air Support will have full access to Meggitt’s support services; including OEM spares supply, technical publications and direct access to Meggitt’s OEM engineering teams.
