Merwede Valves has gained the PED approval Module H “full quality assurance” from DNV Sweden. As operating company of Merwede Shipyard and a member of the IHC Caland group, Merwede Valves designs and manufactures customised valves for extreme and severe applications in the range of 1/2″–10″ ball, gate, globe and check valves. The PED approval runs alongside the company’s ISO 9001 accreditation and ensures the flexibility that is necessary to keep up the extreme short lead times Merwede Valves offers. Recent investments in the Merwede Valves general valve design resulted in a serial of valve designs covering the market needs of non-standard valves. During the Valve World exhibition Merwede staff will be present to inform visitors concerning this flexible but stringent design philosophy. Valve World Exhibition Booth number 102.
