Miniature isolation valves

Flow control specialist Bio-Chem Valve has developed inert, perfluoroelastomer miniature isolation valves for the handling of aggressive, particulate-laden and high purity fluids in scientific and medical equipment. These solenoid valves, available in the UK and Europe from Omnifit, enable OEM product designers to accommodate fluids that present a threat to the integrity of standard valve seals. With a diameter of only 19mm and varying in height between 48mm and 60mm, the valves consist of inert yet resilient perfluoroelastomer polymer diaphragms and a PEEK body, providing quality sealing with improved resistance to particulate damage. They feature a low internal volume, fast response times, continuous duty coils and a high cycle life with low power consumption. The valves are available in 2-way normally open, 2-way normally closed or 3-way configurations. The valves can be combined with Bio-Chem’s patented manifold system to reduce the cost of design and assembly time in instrument design and production.
