Hydrogen and Industrial valves is the new working group (WG19) of the CEN (TC 69). The European Committee for Standardization will start working on a standard for Industrial valves operating with Hydrogen, this might be mixtures or pure hydrogen.
Mokveld brings a wide range of experience to the working group; it supplied the first valves for Hydrogen applications over 30 years ago. At present, the axial control valves, on-off valves, and check valves are operating in various H₂ applications. This includes pure H₂ and mixes, like syngas.
