The “ZRPlus” Control Position Monitor from Tyco Valves & Controls provides a new level of integration for position monitoring and control of automated valves. Designed specifically for general-purpose or hazardous-area applications, the “ZRPlus” is a compact, CENELEC-approved package, conforming to IP67 ingress rating and certified for Hazardous Area, Zone 0, 1 and 2 services. The tough engineered-resin enclosure incorporates pre-wired solenoid valves, as well as either mechanical or solid-state proximity type switches, in a single compact unit, resulting in integrated monitoring and control, whilst making the installation of the unit a simple and low cost operation. The complete unit, when supplied with a stainless steel solenoid valve, provides an extremely economical solution for position monitoring and control of automated valves in a corrosive environment. Part of the new AVID (Automated Valve Interface Devices) range of actuator control devices, the “ZRPlus” utilises the ModMount low profile mounting base, the HiVue visual display for local position identification and the EasiFix quick and simple switch adjustment system, making the devices easy to mount, set and use.
