MRC Canada ULC, a subsidiary of MRC Global, has significantly expanded its Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) in Nisku, Alberta. The addition of approximately 67,000ft2 gives the RDC a total of approximately 122,000ft2 of warehouse space, 11,000ft2 of office space, 21 acres of pipeyard space, and a new valve-automation centre to support 45 MRC Global branches in Canada with pipe, valves and fittings as well as valve automation services.
“This significant investment in our Nisku, Alberta RDC demonstrates our continued commitment to our Canadian customers”, Grant Bates, MRC Global senior vice president – Canada, said. “Our expanded facility will house more than 80 employees and will initially stock more than USD 40M in inventory.”
