MSA, a.s., has supplied valves for Eustream, a natural gas transport company in Slovakia. The valves were designed for the new pipeline which will connect Slovakia and Hungary.
“This order involved supplies of ball valves in nominal size 20″, Class 600. The valves were fitted with a Niwatec actuator,” describes delivery Ing. Simona Košcová – sales director of Europe territory.
In total, 1300 pieces were used for construction of the pipeline that is over 19 km long on the Slovak side. The total weight of steel used was 4 thousand tons.
The pipeline will connect high-pressure transport systems between Veľké Zlievce (Slovakia) and Hungarian community Vecsés on the outskirts of Budapest and is practically finished on the Slovak side. Costs of this construction are 160 million EUR. Assumed commissioning is 1st January 2015 and its capacity fill reaches 5 billion m3 of transported natural gas per year. Last year, we delivered valves with a value of more than 36 million CZK for this company and they are one of our main customers for the Slovak market. We will continue our cooperation in following years based on general agreement,” summarizes sales director of MSA, Mr. Roman Baláž.
