MSS publishes revised standard for SP-111-2020

The Manufacturers Standardization Society (MSS) of the Valve and Fittings Industry announces that SP-111-2020, Gray-Iron, and Ductile-Iron Tapping Sleeves, has been revised and published by MSS.

Standard Practice (SP)-111 has served as an industry norm for over 28 years; covering the performance and design requirements of gray-iron or ductile-iron tapping sleeves used in water and sewage systems. This Standard Practice covers the performance and design requirements of tapping sleeves of nominal pipe sizes from NPS 4 through NPS 48 (DN 100 through DN 1200), with flanged outlet branch connections from NPS 2 through NPS 42 (DN 50 through DN 1050). SP-111 continues to be maintained under the consensus of MSS Technical Committee 112, Water Works Valves & Fittings.

The revised Standard Practice, MSS SP-111-2020, is now available from authorized U.S. and global distributors. It has been published in an electronic version (PDF) and book format.
