MSS revised ANS for Pressure-Seal Bonnet Valves

The Manufacturers Standardization Society (MSS) of the Valve and Fittings Industry announces that ANSI/MSS SP-144-2020, Pressure-Seal Bonnet Valves, has been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as a revised American National Standard (ANS) and published by MSS.
Standard Practice (SP)-144 has served the industry for over 5 years and first became ANSI-approved in 2015; covering construction requirements for steel and alloy valves having pressure-seal bonnets in the size range of NPS 2 (DN 50) through NPS 50 (DN 1250) and Pressure Classes 600, 900, 1500, 2500, and 4500. This Standard Practice applies to the gate, globe, and check valves and may be used in conjunction with other valve-specific standards. SP-144 continues to be maintained under the consensus of MSS Technical Committee 114, Steel Valves.
The revised ANSI-approved American National Standard edition, ANSI/MSS SP-144-2020, is now available from authorized U.S. and global distributors. It has been published in an electronic version (PDF) and book format.
