Mueller Co has recently launched a new Lineseal 350 Butterfly Valve, this new valve is available in sizes 6” – 36” for mechanical joint ends and 6” – 48” for flanged ends. The non-metallic bearings prevent galvanic corrosion and provide a lower coefficient of friction and the Chevron “V” type packing is self-adjusting to last the life of the valve.
This product adds to Mueller Co.’s existing line of 350psi products which includes resilient wedge gate valves and Super Centurion fire hydrants. Mueller Co. continues to provide flow control products such as these that are ready for the increasing demands of tomorrow’s water systems.
The new valves has 350psig (2415kPa/24 barg) maximum working pressure with temperatures to 250°F. And meets or exceeds all applicable requirements of ANSI/AWWA C504 Standard Class 250B; NSF 61/372 certified. It has a body made up of Ductile Iron ASTM A-536 (65-45-12).
